Overview
This project focused on designing a comprehensive program that addressed the unique challenges faced by bartenders, aligned seamlessly with Schweppes’ global brand identity, and reinforced the brand’s commitment to the HoReCa sector. Through a collaborative process that included bartenders, bar owners, Coca-Cola representatives, and global leaders from the Schweppes team, we created a strategic engagement program tailored to their needs. During a three-day, in-person sprint in São Paulo, professionals from Schweppes and OpenX agencies from around the world gathered to shape this initiative. Together, we developed solutions that provided bartenders with essential tools, resources, and ongoing support to help them thrive. My role included conducting in-depth research, facilitating key discussions, and crafting actionable strategies to empower bartenders and establish a lasting, meaningful connection with the Schweppes brand.

The Challenge
Bartenders face numerous challenges in their daily work, from limited access to professional development tools to a lack of ongoing support from the brands they represent. Schweppes aimed to bridge this gap by understanding the real-world needs of bartenders and creating a program that provided tangible value while reinforcing the brand’s loyalty and presence in the HoReCa sector. The challenge was to design a solution that was both practical and aligned with Schweppes’ long-term vision.
The Solution
The three-day sprint resulted in the creation of a two-pronged strategic engagement program tailored to the needs of bartenders: 1. Educational Resources: Tools and content to enhance bartenders’ skills and knowledge. 2. Networking Opportunities and Experiences: Exclusive events and initiatives to strengthen connections within the bartender community and with Schweppes. The program was informed by insights gathered through direct engagement with bartenders and bar owners and developed collaboratively with Schweppes executives and agency partners. Through collaborative efforts with over 30 global leaders, including Schweppes executives and OpenX agencies, the program aligned with the brand’s long-term vision while addressing the specific needs of bartenders in the industry. The final solution positioned Schweppes as a trusted partner for bartenders, addressing their challenges while enhancing brand loyalty.
